Mary Jane Neal

Mary Jane Neal, age 96, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on September 24, 2023, at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in North East, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late David and Matilda (George) Morris and wife of the late Herbert Hatcher and Burnis Grey Neal. She was a member of Bel Air United Methodist Church. She retired in 1979 after 33 years at the Army and Air Force Exchange Service at Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood Arsenal.  She then went on to have various part time jobs in the years to follow including sales clerk at Soretta at Harford Mall.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, and loved hosting family & friends at her home where she loved to watch the 4th of July fireworks from the back deck.  She also enjoyed gardening, making crafts, and day trips to Amish country with lunch at Sam’s.  
  
Mary Jane is survived by her niece, LuAnne (Dick) Belmonte; sister, Lilly Wiggins; stepson, Edward (Molly) Neal; stepdaughter, Shirley (Terry) Ralston; nephew, Denny (Bernice) Wiggins; other extended family.

In addition to her parents and husbands Mary Jane was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Morris Dimler and her stepson Robert Neal.
