Mary Naomi Kuntz

Mary Naomi Kuntz, age 100, of Oxford, PA passed away on March 10, 2017 at the Ware Presbyterian Village in Oxford, PA. Born in Hegins, PA, she was the daughter of James and Mary (Ressler) Kuntz. She graduated from Drexel University in 1938 with a Bachelor's Degree and then went on to Nursing School at Johns Hopkins, graduated in 1943 as a registered nurse. She worked as an RN at Johns Hopkins at Wilmer where she became a head nurse. She went back to school to obtain her Master's Degree at University of MD. She served in Nursing Education with her masters and taught at Johns Hopkins and CCBC in their nursing programs until she retired in 1979. She enjoyed needle work, traveling and children, especially babies.

Mary is survived by loving niece, Mary Ann Harvey (Robert Harvey) and loving nephew, James Geist (Hallie Jean) and numerous devoted great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her dear sister, Catherine Geist.
