Mary Mitchell

Mary Mitchell, age 83, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on March 6, 2013 at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Drill, VA, she was the daughter of the late Wiley Haywood and Ollie Gaye Fuller Wilson and wife of the late William S. Mitchell Sr. A homemaker, she enjoyed playing bingo and taking care of her yard and garden.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her sons, Roy M. Mitchell Sr. and wife, Nancy A., of Abingdon and William "Bill" S. Mitchell and wife, Theresa H., of Pylesville; sisters, Cora Lee Jackson of Edgewood and Lois Simmons of Billings, MT; grandchildren, Roy M. Mitchell Jr. of Abingdon, Matthew S. Mitchell of Baltimore, Lauren M. Mitchell of Moose, WY and Kelsey M. Mitchell of Pylesville; and great-granddaughter, Brynn K. Mitchell.
