MARY MILLS ROWSEY, age 89, of Fallston, died in Lorien Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on August 20, 2005. Born in Recordville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Carl Edward and Bertha Catherine Ison Carter and the wife of the late James T. Rowsey. She was a member of Fallston Presbyterian Church, Fallston Community Club, Calvary Baptist Church Keenagers Club, Bel Air, MD. She volunteered for 25 years for Meals on Wheels. She also volunteered at the Towson Presbyterian Home and for the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Christmas Drive. In 1995 she was elected Harford County’s Most Beautiful Person.
Mrs. Rowsey is survived by two sons, Charles Edward Mills of Street and Donald Ebert Mills of Delta, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Nancy Mills Sheetz of Bel Air and Lou Ann Bane of Fallston; three grandchildren, Darlene Mohr of Rising Sun, MD, Jason Mills Sheetz of Delta, PA, and Charles Mills of Abingdon; and one great-granddaughter, Cierra French of Rising Sun, MD. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her first husband, Ebert D. Mills; one daughter, Linda Mills Lynch; three sisters, Blanche Winkler, Ethel Bond, and Carlin Norman.
Pallbearers were: Charles Nichols, Samuel Sheetz, John Winkler, George W. Kyle, Jr., and Charles W. Kyle.
