Mary Lyman Archer

Mary Lyman Archer, age 86, of Darlington, MD passed away on November 19, 2015 at her home. Born in Walla Walla, WA she is the daughter of the late Dr. John Cushman Lyman and Elizabeth Webster (Harlan) Lyman. A homemaker, she was a past member of Harford County Garden Club, past volunteer at Harford Memorial Hospital and recent volunteer at the Darlington Public Library. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a very proud great grandmother.

Mrs. Archer is survived her husband of 65 years, John Potter Archer Jr.; children, Elizabeth Harlan Archer of Bradenton, FL, John Potter Archer III of Goldsboro, NC, Melanie Archer Graetzer of Glen Rock, NJ and William Stevenson Archer of Darlington, MD; grandchildren, Emily, Jay, Ian, Will, Graham, Anne, Zoë and Hannah; and great grandchildren, Blythe, Quinn, Bennett and Mary Archer. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Emily Garesche Archer and sister, Elizabeth Lyman Robison.
