Mary Lou "Sue" Chafin

Mary Lou "Sue" Chafin , age 75, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on April 29, 2020 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Charles Eugene and Sarah Ann (Lincous) Chafin. She was a member of Bel Air United Methodist Church. She enjoyed music and entertaining. She was an avid walker and loved to keep fit.

Survived by daughter Lisa Lynn Marchsteiner, MSgt USAF Ret; son John Charles Marchsteiner HT1(SW), USN Ret. Grandsons Joseph Schmitt Jr, MSgt MDANG and his wife Heather; Michael Lee Marchsteiner Jr, Joshua Matthew Marchsteiner, and granddaughter Alyssa Marie Marchsteiner, PFC USMC. She also has 4 great-grandchildren: Joseph Schmitt III, Walker Schmitt, Raelynn Marchsteiner and Aidynn Marchsteiner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, John M., Donald G., and Michael L Marchsteiner; brothers, Joe and Jim Chafin; and sisters, Ann Thomas and Bonnie Bentley.
