Mary Lee Himmer

Mary Lee Himmer, age 76, of Ellicott City, MD, died on July 30, 2008 at Morningside Assisted Living in Ellicott City, MD and formerly lived in Harford County for over 35 years. She was the daughter of the late Edison Lee Wallis and Mary Byer Epperley Wallis and wife of the late David George Himmer. She was involved in helping with Meals on Wheels for 5 years, worked in a real estate office for 7 years and was a home care aide for a year. She also enjoyed animals, especially cats, and enjoyed growing flowers.
Mrs. Himmer is survived by 2 sons, David G. Himmer and his wife Susan of Bel Air, MD and Keith A. Himmer and his wife Maureen of Abingdon, MD; 2 daughters Karen Himmer Becker and her husband John J. Becker II of Ellicott City, MD and Kathleen J. Himmer and her husband Kenneth Roberts of Lawrence, KS.; 4 grandchildren David G. Himmer III of Abingdon, MD., Mathew R. Hood, Kelly E. Hood, and Nicholas A. Himmer all of Bel Air, MD and 1 great granddaughter Savannah M. Himmer of Abingdon, MD. She was predeceased by a brother Robert S. Wallis.
Pallbearers were David G. Himmer Jr, Keith A. Himmer, David G. Himmer, III, Jay Becker, Matt Hood, Doug Epperley and Nick Himmer.
