Mary Lee Anders

Mary Lee Anders, age 82, of Joppa, MD passed away on January 11, 2017 at her home in Joppa, MD. Born in Jefferson, NC, she was the daughter of Wiley and Mary (Lyons) Craven. She was a member of Franklinville Presbyterian Church where she served as the secretary of the church for many years. She enjoyed attending church and being a part of the women's association. She loved to cook, clean and take care of her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and going to the casino.

Mrs. Anders is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert Earl Anders Sr.; son, Robert (Donna) E. Anders, Jr. of Perry Hall, MD; daughter, Mary (Mark) E. Galvin of Stafford, VA; sister, Ruby Allen of Jefferson, NC; three grandsons, Jason Galvin of Easley, SC, Matthew Anders of Harrisonburg, NC, and Ian Galvin of Ruther Glen, VA; granddaughter, Kristen Gatch of Joppatowne, MD; two great-granddaughters, Avery Anders, Diana Galvin; and two great-grandsons, Christopher "C.J." Gatch and Clark Galvin. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mabel Bandy and Johnnie Miller.
