Mary Jane Dancy

Mary Jane Dancy of Joppa, MD, died on July 10, 2016 at the age of 84 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Reddies River, NC to Dewey L. Dancy and Jessie Ellen (Johnson) Dancy Spurlin, she worked on the assembly line at Bata Shoe Company for 32 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Edith E. Findley and husband Walter W. Findley Jr. of Darlington; sister, Aline Crouse; grandchildren, Walter W. Findley III and wife, Tracy, and Michael S. Findley and wife, Jodi; and great grandchild, Alexis N. Findley. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Odell and Bud Dancy and sisters, Estie Spurlin and Edith Higgins.
