Mary Helen Porcher Tucker

Mary Helen Peters Porcher Tucker, age 83, of Havre de Grace, MD, died on April 16, 2009 at her home. Born in Joppa, MD, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Edward and Hannah Irene Gilbert Peters. She was a teacher's aid for both Halls Cross Roads and Magnolia Elementary Schools for over 20 years. She was a Christian woman who loved the Lord.

Mrs. Tucker is survived by her husband, Melvin M. Tucker of Havre de Grace, MD; son, Melvin Wesley Tucker and wife, Chae Sun Tucker, of Frederick, MD; grandson, Raymond Tucker and wife, Gina, of Frederick, MD; and great-grandson, Noah Tucker. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, William, Theodore, Roy and Frank Peters; and two sisters, Mattie Miller and Georgianna Williams.
