Mary Frances Graybeal

It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Frances Graybeal, 92, of Bel Air announce her passing on October 5th at Amazing Grace Assisted Living Home in Bel Air. She was born in Galax, Virginia and married Ralph Henry Graybeal, predeceased.

Frances is survived by two children, Rick Graybeal and wife Linda of Ohio and Claudia Hertzog and husband Dennis of Bel Air, MD. She had four grandchildren, Scott Andrew Graybeal and Clare Elizabeth Calhoun of Ohio, and Shawn Rinehart and Matthew Rinehart of Bel Air, MD. She had nine great grandchildren. Frances is survived by two sisters, Geraldine McMillan of Darlington, MD and Catherine Edwards of Melbourne, FL. She will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Bob, Bill, Gregory and Roger Akers.

After graduating from Bel Air Highschool, Frances worked as a nurse at City Hospital in Baltimore and later, a secretary at Aberdeen Proving Ground. After moving to Florida, she worked at Patrick Air Force Base for spacecraft recovery for NASA.

Private interment is at Memorial Gardens in Bel Air.
