Mary Ernestine Joines

Mary Ernestine Joines, of Bel Air, MD, died at the age of 95 on September 23, 2016 at her home. She was born in Wilkes County, NC to Ella Roena (Mitchell) Mullis and was the wife of the late Roy E. Joines. She worked in the electronics industry as an assembly line worker and was active in her church until her later years.

Survivors include her daughters, Gwendolyn E. Huskey (Phil, Jr.) of Bel Air and Linda G. Peacock of Bel Air; brother, Vance Mullis of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Larry, Patrice, Leah and Phil; great-grandchildren, Sara, Samantha, Tyler, Mason, Michael, Devon, Jake and Brody; and great-great-grandchildren, Hayden, Karlee, Mike and Jiovanni. In addition to her mother and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Jo Gumbel; and her brothers, James, George and Darius Mitchell and Billy and Charles Mullis.
