MARY E. BELL HANNA, of Essex, died on June 21, 2003 after a long illness, Mary Hanna, known as “Queen Mary”, a four year resident of Ivy Hall Geriatric Center. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late John August Schollian and the late Elizabeth Meehan DeVage. She worked as a bookkeeper at Cagney’s Restaurant. “Queen Mary” will be dearly missed. Her family, Bud, Kathi, Lori and especially Darlene would like to express sincere gratitude to our extended family and friends at Ivy Hall, whom loved and cared for her with all their hearts.
Mary Hanna is survived by her husband, James Hanna; three daughters, M. Darlene King of Essex; Kathleen A. Bell of Southhaven, Mississippi; Lori L. Rowland of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania; step-sons, Charles E. Hanna of Bel Air; James H. Hanna, III of Abingdon; Richard N. Hanna of Abingdon; step-daughters, Mary M. Ziehl of Forest Hill; Deidra L. Poole of Edgewood; three brothers, John A. Schollian of Moss Point, Mississippi; James J. Schollian of Finksberg; and William Schollian of Seminary, Mississippi; three sisters, Laura J. Couch of Lucedale, Mississippi; Betty Ann Premeaux of Boloxi, Mississippi; Ann Marie Silar of Wheeling, West Virginia; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
