Mary Eleanor Taylor

MARY ELEANOR TAYLOR, age 97, of Timonium, formerly of Abingdon, died at Heart Homes of Lutherville on July 19, 2005. Born in Conowingo, she was the daughter of the late William Theodore and Sophia Cully Caldwell, and the wife of the late Raymond Rouse Taylor. She retired in 1973 from Edgewood Arsenal after 30 years of service where she had worked as a supply clerk typist. She was very dedicated to her community helping with church functions. She was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church since 1948 and was president of the United Methodist Women for 22 years.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by one son, Raymond Taylor, Jr. of Millsboro, Delaware; daughter, Ruth Freeland of Ardsley, Pennsylvania; foster daughters, Arlie Hagan of Banning, California and Estean Rosenberg of Cincinnati, Ohio; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
