Mary E. Walter, 88, of Churchville, MD passed away on May 4, 2015 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Darlington, MD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas B. and Marion V. (Craig) Reynolds and wife of the late Howard G. Walter Sr. She was a member of Havre de Grace Chapter #27 Order of the Eastern Star and Past Grand Guardian of Maryland Job's Daughters International. She loved flowers, gardening and animals. She also loved young people and had been active with her own children in both the Girl and Boy Scouts. She participated in Little League, PTA, was a school bus driver and also a substitute PreK teacher.
Mrs. Walter is survived by her children, Howard G. Walter Jr. and wife, Teresa, of Abingdon, Donna Stout and husband, John, of Havre de Grace, Susan Miles of Salisbury, Mary Lou Walter of Churchville and A. Scott Walter and wife, Cindy, of Jarrettsville; brothers, Thomas Reynolds and wife, Andy, of Pennsylvania and Donald Reynolds and wife, Callie, of Florida; sister-in-law, Betty Walter of Churchville; grandchildren, Lisa Cole and husband, Paul, Nicole Ringrose, John Stout and wife, Falisha, Scott Walter, Shane Walter, Greg Miles and Chris Miles; and great-grandchildren, Jaron and Andrew Ringrose. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her sons, Michael C. and Douglas J. Walter; and grandson Robert Stout.
In addition to her grandsons, pallbearers will be Jon Willis, Steve Walter and Ed Walter.
