Mary E. Nelson

MARY E. NELSON, age 65, of Joppa, died at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on November 3, 2005.

Born in Havre de Grace, she was the daughter of Jesse William and Nola Loretta Pearce Evans. She was a homemaker who was a member of First Baptist Church of Creswell.

Mrs. Nelson is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jack Nelson of Joppa. She is also survived by her son; Billy Joe Nelson and his wife Kathy, of Bunell, FL; four stepdaughters, Deborah Nelson of North Hampton, MA, Peggy Gonzales of Aransas Pass, TX, Linda LeVerte of North Hampton, MA, and Diane Dolan or North Hampton, MA; two brothers, Jesse Evans of Baltimore and Thomas Evans of Aberdeen; four half brothers, Edward Lieske, Herman Lieske, Fred Lieske, and Henry Lieske, all of Aberdeen; two half sisters, Helen Richick and Charlotte Lieske, both of Joppa; and long time friend, Freda Compton, of Joppatowne. She was predeceased by a sister, Minnie Wade.
