Mary Campbell Brown

MARY CAMPBELL BROWN, age 78, of Fallston, MD, died on November 6, 2007 at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation, Forest Hill, MD. Born December 6, 1928 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada, she was the daughter of the late James Oliver Claire Campbell and Dora Eleanor Mathieson Campbell. She retired from Harford Mutual Insurance Company in Bel Air in the early 1990’s after many years of service. She loved bowling and enjoyed competing in many leagues over the years. She enjoyed knitting and made sweaters and clothes for family and friends. She was a Girl Scout Leader who enriched the lives of her fellow Leaders and Girl Scout troop. She was also a member and past president of the Bel Air Lioness Club. She enjoyed camping and vacationing to Florida and visiting family and childhood friends on Prince Edward Island. One favorite vacation was to England, Scotland and Wales with her family to trace her heritage. She will be remembered for her kindness, caring ways and the unconditional love she gave to her family and close friends.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband of 46 years, H. Arthur Brown of Fallston, MD; a daughter, Heather Brown Twigg and her husband, Jeffrey L. Twigg, of Bel Air, MD; a half brother, Gerry Campbell of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; one granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Twigg of Bel Air, MD; and numerous relatives on Prince Edward Island.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, David Sidney Campbell.
