Mary Brinkley

Mary Cordell Brinkley of Bel Air, MD passed suddenly on July 24, 2016 at the age of 74 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Hixon, TN to James Burnice and Una Marie (VonRohr) Cordell, she was an army wife and homemaker who enjoyed scuba diving, sailing with her brothers and gardening, especially Bonsai trees. She was employed in several office positions and most notably TVA and Republic Parking in Tennessee and thoroughly enjoyed the close relationships formed with her coworkers.

Ms. Brinkley is survived by her son, Allen S. Brinkley (Melinda) and grandson Bryce Brinkley (Mary), of Houston, TX; and by her daughter, Therese B. Griffin (Doug) and grandsons Aaron, Josh and Zack Griffin of Abingdon, MD; brother, Joe Cordell; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Cordell.

A private ceremony will take place in Tennessee.
