MARY ANN RICKETTS, age 60, of Edgewood, died on December 4, 2005 at her home. Born in Overlea, she was the daughter of Ida Latka Greene of Edgewood and the late James Murray Greene. She retired after 24 years with the US Government as an Industrial Base Planning Specialist. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, where she was a lifetime member. She also was active in charitable events, including an Edgewood toy drive. She organized a company picnic for her work. She was active in Girl Scout and Boy Scout programs, enjoyed her grandchildren, and coached softball for the Edgewood Rec. Council.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband of 40 years, Donald S. Ricketts, Jr.; one son, James A. Ricketts, and his wife Pamela of Port Deposit; three daughters, Susan Blevins of Edgewood, Donna M. Hyman, and her husband Mark of North East, and Karen M. Kaminsky, and her husband Steven of Forest Hill; two brothers, Earl Little of Edgewood, and Stanley G. Little of Darlington; and eight grandchildren, Brittanie M. Blevins and Morgan L. Blevins, both of Bel Air, James E. Hyman, Marie A. Hyman, and John T. Hyman, all of North East, Paige M. Brewington, and Laura N. Ricketts, both of Port Deposit, and Natalie A. Kaminsky of Forest Hill.
Pallbearers will be James D. Ricketts, Stanley G. Little, Mary P. Hyman, Steven A. Kaminsky, Gene E. Dawson, Dale Harris, Jeffrey Morrow and Jeffrey Johnson.
