Mary Ann Tressler

Mary Ann "Toots" Tressler, age 73, of Jarrettsville, MD, died on September 12, 2009 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Salisbury, PA, she was the daughter of the late Herman H. and Ruth Evelyn Beachy Hartman. A Harford County resident since 1964, she had graduated from Salisbury-Elk Lick High School in 1953. An admitting clerk for Fallston General Hospital, she had also worked for Dr. Barthel in Forest Hill, MD, Dr. Willard Amoss in Fallston, MD, and as a teller for Forest Hill State Bank. She was a member of the Brethren Church in Salisbury, PA, The Forest Hill Home Makers Club and was a 17 year breast cancer survivor. She enjoyed collecting antiques and quilts, doing crafts including ceramics, and visiting yard sales. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Tressler is survived by her husband of 56 years, Mark Briskey Tressler of Jarrettsville, MD; sons, James Allen Tressler of Bel Air, MD and Randall Lee Tressler of Forest Hill, MD; grandchildren, Anita Jean Partridge and Cory Allen Lucas; and great grandchildren, Collin Douglas Partridge, Ivy Joone Chapin, Lily Marie Lucas and Cory Allen Lucas Jr.
