MARY ANN SERRA, age 77, of Bel Air, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on January 10, 2003. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Earl Watts and Mildred Baker, and the wife for 55 years of the late Alan D. Serra. She was a registered nurse and had worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the transplant unit for 15 years. A resident of Harford County for 43 years, she was a member of St. Alban Anglican Church in Joppa and an avid gardener.
Mrs. Serra is survived by six children, Alan D. Serra, Jr. of Abingdon; Renee A. Serra of Ocean City; Keith D. Serra of Street; Leslie S. Terrell of Street; Tracey A. Tolliver of Bel Air; Dawn A. Serra of Baltimore; two brothers, Richard Watts of Baltimore; John Watts of Port Charlotte, Florida; one sister, Ellen Shaw of Hanover, Maryland; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one son, Harry L. Serra.
Pallbearers were: Michael A. Serra, Adam D. Serra, Chris K. Serra, John W. Terrell, Spencer D. Tolliver, and Brian S. Serra.
