Marty Davis

Marty Davis, 79, of Holtwood, Pennsylvania passed away on October 13, 2017 at his home. Born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Martin and Teresa (Bersavage) Davis. He was a graduate of Luzerne High School in Pennsylvania and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired as chief custodian for Harford County Public Schools in 2000, and was a former member of the Abingdon ELKS Lodge. He liked to play computer poker and lottery scratch-offs.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 56 years, Josephine Margaret Davis; children, James Davis and his wife, Lauren, from Hanover, PA, Marcia Barben and her husband, Matthew, from Windsor, PA and Diane Moyer and her husband, Mike, from Hamburg, PA; granddaughters, Kimberly and Cierra; grandsons, Clayton, Jaxson and Brenden; sister-in-law, GeorgeAnne Chartier and her husband, John, from Auburn, MA; and cousin, Maggie Panek of Luzerne, PA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Albert Davis.
