Martha Evelyn Tibbs

Martha Evelyn Tibbs, age 78, of Joppa, MD passed away on September 20, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Tazwell, VA, she was the daughter of the late Brady and Helen Matthews. A homemaker, she was a devoted member of her church and a great cook.

Mrs. Tibbs is survived by husband of 59 years, Harry Vernon Tibbs Sr.; sons, Danny R. Tibbs of Edgewood, MD, Bobby Tibbs of Atlanta, GA and Harry Tibbs Jr. of Churchville, MD; daughters, Brenda Tibbs of Abingdon, MD, Debbie Bandy of Edgewood, MD and Mary Tibbs of Aberdeen, MD; sister, Dorothy Dehaven of Havre de Grace, MD; grandchildren, Danny R. Tibbs Jr. of Edgewood, Melissa Lantaya of Abingdon, Wayne Tibbs of Tennessee, Alfred Guy of Tennessee, James Bandy of Edgewood, Donna Guy of Perryman, April Bandy of Edgewood, Austin, Elana and Ashley Graybeal of Aberdeen, Lynn and Jessica Tibbs of Atlanta, Kayla Tibbs and Harry Tibbs III; and numerous great grandchildren.
