Martha E. Hogan

Martha E. Hogan, age 95, of Bel Air, MD passed away on August 6, 2012 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Joseph and Iva Day Watson Kernan and wife of the late William Michael Hogan. A resident of Harford County since 1989, she worked for the State of Maryland for over 30 years. She was a past member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Baltimore and a current member of St. Margaret Catholic Church in Bel Air. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. An avid reader, she loved babysitting her grandchildren and enjoyed trips to Ocean City.

Mrs. Hogan is survived by her daughter, M. Terry Hogan of Baltimore, MD; sons, Michael O. Hogan and wife, Pat, of Bel Air, MD, Thomas J. Hogan of Hingham, MA, Timothy Hogan and wife, Marcia, of Bel Air, MD; and grandchildren, Ellen and Sharon Edler, Joseph Brendan Hogan, Emily Rose Sterner, Kate, Megan, Kiernan and Liam Hogan. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by grandson, W. Michael Hogan.
