MARLENE ROSALIE HIRSCH, age 67, of Bel Air, MD, died on October 29, 2007 at Bel Air Health and Rehabilitation in Bel Air. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Viola Horne Rebbert. She was a sales representative for Avon Products for 23 years, and worked as a secretary for Equifax Company, Donor Advertising Company and Eastern Stainless Steel. For five years during the 1960’s she was a cheerleader for the Baltimore Colts. She was a Eucharistic minister for the Church of the Annunciation in Rosedale and was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church in Bel Air. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Knights Ladies and a big Andy Williams fan.
Mrs. Hirsch is survived by her husband of 42 years, John E. Hirsch of Bel Air, MD; two sons, Lawrence A. Hirsch and his wife, Rachel C. Hirsch, of Baltimore, MD and Kenneth G. Hirsch of Baltimore, MD; and a brother, James Rebbert of Towson, MD. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond Rebbert and Gerald Rebbert.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Catholic High School of Baltimore, 2800 Edison Highway, Baltimore, MD 21213.
