Marlene Lorraine Henson

Marlene Lorraine Henson, age 86, of Perryville, MD passed away on November 2, 2019 at Christiana Health System in Newark, DE. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Anna (Schlesinger) Rader. She was a former member of Bel Air United Methodist Church, where she liked camping and traveling with International Fellowship, and Aisquith Presbyterian Church in Parkville, playing piano in the churches. She was a member of Bel Air Homemakers and volunteered for over 25 years at Bel Air Convalescent Center. There she ran BINGO games and other services for the residents, including picking crabs for the residents who couldn't!! She was a den mother in Cub Scouts and Weeblos for many years, sold Avon for many years and volunteered at Harford County Humane Society in the adoption services division. Her cooking skills were outstanding, especially her German foods, and she was an avid dancer with Art Linkletter in her younger years.

Marlene is survived by her husband Marion Ray Henson Jr.; sons, Steve (Amy) Henson of Perryville and Jeffrey Taylor of North East; daughter, Kathleen (Jonathan) Osani of Conowingo; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Albert J. Taylor, Jr.
