Mark P. Schultz, age 81, of Bel Air, MD passed away on May 15, 2017 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Washington, DC, he was the son of Mark Perry and Ruth Elizabeth (Polen) Schultz and was the husband of the late Barbara A. Schultz. His family lived in the Washington DC area. He graduated from University of Maryland at College Park and Case Western Reserve University, and was at first an engineer and subsequently an architect for most of his career. After his retirement from Aberdeen Proving Ground as an architect, he participated in various volunteer activities in the Harford County area. He was an active member of the Bel Air Lions Club and was also a member of Bel Air United Methodist Church. He and his wife enjoyed exploring back roads and wooded places and they traveled extensively throughout the U.S. They also made a number of trips abroad.
Mr. Schultz is survived by Joan Repaal of North East, who is his personal representative.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Schultz.
