Mark Anthony Novak

Mark Anthony Novak, 56, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on January 3, 2015 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late James Joseph and Dorothy Viola Pixley Novak. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and a loyal and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. An avid motorcyclist, he loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed traveling and cooking. He was a great friend and it would be his wish that his life be celebrated and people not mourn.

Mr. Novak is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sharilyn Y. Novak; daughters, Sheryl Stanford of Abingdon, Sandra McVicker of Baltimore, Brandi Riggs of Milford, DE and Faith Novak of Edgewood; brothers, James Novak of Baltimore and Kenny Novak of Pikesville; sisters, Rose Beacham of Jacksonville, NC, Kathy Collett and Kim Cox both of Baltimore; and 12 grandchildren.
