Marjory Lee Enfield Barrow

Marjory Lee Enfield Barrow passed away on August 30, 2010 at the age of 91. She was the wife of the late James W. Barrow Sr. of Bel Air, MD, and the daughter of the late Jacob Roy Enfield and Martha Susan Holland Enfield of Forest Hill, MD.

A graduate of Bel Air High School and the University of Maryland, Mrs. Barrow had taught vocational Home Economics at Slate Ridge High School, and supported her late husband in his beef and dairy cattle farming operations. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Bel Air, and was an avid cook. She also enjoyed sewing and designing clothes.

She is survived by her three children, J. Carolyn Barrow of Bel Air, MD, Susan Barrow Parker of Annapolis, MD, and Fay Enfield Barrow of Bel Air, MD; three sisters, Mrs. Henrietta MacDonald of Poughkeepsie, NY, Mrs. Grace Sturdevant of Prince Frederick, MD, and Mrs. Jeanne Reick of Fort Pierce, FL; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, J. Wilbur Barrow Jr.; and two sisters, Mrs. Dorothea Brand, formerly of Darlington, MD, and Mrs. Mary Virginia Williams, formerly of Aberdeen, MD.

Pallbearers were Mr. Fay Barrow, Mr. Ian McGuirk, Mr. John McGuirk, Mr. James Dorsey, Mr. Bill Riordan, and Mr. Bob Richardson.
