MARJORIE WATTS STINCHCOMB, age 86, of Street, MD, died at Hart Heritage Home in Street on April 22, 2003. Born in Bel Air, she was the daughter of the late George Franklin and Mary Lagan Watts and the wife for 55 years of the late Edward N. Stinchcomb who was a co-owner of Kroh’s Cleaner for 45 years. She was a member of the Maryland Golf and Country Club, where with her husband she enjoyed dancing, tennis and swimming. She was an avid yoga practitioner for 20 years. She was also a member of the Bush River Yacht Club and volunteer for the A.M.C. She was skilled in needlework.
Mrs. Stinchcomb is survived by two sons, Norman P. Stinchcomb and his wife, Bonnie Stinchcomb of Street; Michael E. Stinchcomb and his wife, Jan Stinchcomb of Abingdon; one daughter, Sandra L. Lupold and her husband, Sherman Lupold of Bel Air; four grandchildren, Shelley Clark and her husband, Tim Clark of Ithaca, New York; Shawn Lupold and his wife, Heather Lupold of Alexandria, Virginia; Kimberly Helmbrecht and her husband, Ron Helmbrecht of Parsonsburg, Maryland; Nicole B. Swartz and her husband, Jeff Swartz of Owings Mills; two great-grandchildren, Hanalei Clark of Ithaca, New York; and Samantha Swartz of Owings Mills, Maryland.
Pallbearers will be: Chuck Wilson, Chris Wilson, John Kramar, Fritz Sterbak, Matt Smith, and Dean Phipps.
