Marjorie M. Anderson

MARJORIE M. ANDERSON, age 92, of Columbus, OH, died on November 23, 2007 in Columbus, OH. Born in White Marsh, MD, she was the daughter of the late Edmund Scott and Elizabeth Smith Moore and wife of the late Rev. Aaron Alfred Anderson. Formerly of Preble County, OH, she married Rev. Anderson in 1938 after graduating from Goucher College in Baltimore. During his time as a minister, they lived in Berton, VA, Fulton, MD, Columbiana, OH, West Alexandria, OH and Eaton, OH. He was also ordained at Trinity Lutheran Church in Joppa, MD. After retirement, they wintered in Palmetto, FL. Mrs. Anderson was a high school English and Latin teacher and an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by one son, David Anderson and his wife, Mary, of Eaton, OH; four daughters, Martie Willeke and her husband, Rodney, of Ft. Wayne, IN, Beata Sandefur of Dublin, OH, and Susan Hake and her husband, James, of Delaware, OH; ; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Edmund Scott Moore and Ormsby Smith Moore, and a sister, Miriam Hinman.
