Marilyn Mae Yeager, faithful servant of the Lord, left her loved ones to join Jesus on August 6, 2023. Marilyn, age 86, of Bel Air, MD, passed away peacefully after a brief illness with family and friends by her side. Born in Cardiff, MD, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Phoebe (McKinley) Whiteford and wife of the late Albert Yeager. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who treasured time with family and friends. She attended Mt. Zion Church where she enjoyed fellowship and bible study. Some fond memories are her sincere concern and prayer for others, long phone conversations, caring friendships, tackling crosswords, working jigsaw puzzles, and taking pictures (lots of pictures).
Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Deborah Wisniewski and husband David of Middletown, DE and Barbara Fischer of Bel Air, MD; grandchildren, Melissa Rakes, Cristina Hardy and husband Jeffrey, Nathan Fischer, and Matthew Wisniewski; great grandchildren, Alexander Rakes, Ethan Rakes, Jude Hardy, and Wyatt Hardy; sister, Diane Peckham; brother, Jay Whiteford; and dear friend, Robert "Ed" Phillips.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved “baby” brother, Kent Whiteford.
Marilyn will be sorely missed. Her family is grateful for wonderful memories they will cherish forever. Praise the Lord!
