Marilyn "Becky" Hoppa

Marilyn “Becky” Hoppa Age 70, of Kingsville, Maryland, passed away on November 19, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Becky was the beloved daughter of the late Walter and Maxine (Cross) Outten. She was the cherished wife of Raymond Hoppa.

Becky’s life was marked by her love for simple joys and connections. She was a lifelong fan of the Baltimore Orioles, finding great pleasure in cheering for her team. Her heart was full when surrounded by her beloved dogs—Coco, Abbie, and Raven—who brought her immense joy.

Becky delighted in the company of family and friends, treasuring the moments spent socializing and sharing laughs. She found peace and satisfaction in completing word searches and crossword puzzles, which she enjoyed as quiet moments of reflection.

Becky will be deeply missed by all who knew her and whose lives were brightened by her warmth and companionship.

A service to celebrate her life will be announced by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local animal rescue or charity of your choice in Becky’s honor.

In addition to her husband, Marilyn is survived by her brother Steven Outten, sister Jackie McCauley, stepdaughter Shayna Hoppa and her daughters Paris and Shyloh who called her “Grandma”.

In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her brother, Rick Outten, James Outten, and sister, Donna Kessling.
