Marie Shipley

Marie Shipley, 87, of Street, MD, passed away on January 31, 2015 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Marion, VA, she was the daughter of the late Joshua and Emma Gray Bragg Burchett and wife of the late Claude B. Shipley. She enjoyed baking and sewing, was an avid fisherwoman and liked to go to yard sales.

Mrs. Shipley is survived by her daughters, Claudia M. Parris and companion, Artie Raymond Wyatt Sr., of Street and Linda E. Billings and husband, Bruce Edward Billings Sr., of Abingdon; brother, William Burchett of Middle River; sister, Lois Huber of Middle River; six grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Parris, Claude Parris, Brandon Wyatt, Marie Carr, Bruce Billings Jr. and Brian Billings.
