Marie Oates

Marie Oates, age 90, of Fallston, MD passed away on February 22, 2020 at her home. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Pasquale and Mary Angela (Crispino) Cerrato and wife for 29 years, of the late Lt. Donald Oates (Baltimore City Fire Department). For nearly 15 years she worked as an assembly line worker for Noxell and had also worked for the Daneker clock factory in Fallston. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, collecting knick-knacks and making baskets. She was an owner/operator of a Christmas Tree Farm " Windy Acres" on Falls Road. She also enjoyed Bingo and going to the casino.

Marie is survived by two sons, Donald E. Oates of Upperco and Gregory G. Oates of Fallston; daughter-in-law, Susan Oates of Upperco; three grandsons, Christopher Oates, Evan Oates, and Tyler Michael Oates; granddaughter, London Jones; girlfriend of son Gregory, Stephanie Schwartz.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Joseph, Louis, Anthony, Joan and Genevie Cerrato.
