Marie Kozub Herold

Marie Kozub Herold, age 90, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on June 30, 2012. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Cecilia Steck Kozub. A lifelong resident of Harford County, she was a member of St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church Byzantine Rite. An entrepreneur most of her life, she was the owner/operator of Churchill Shoes in Bel Air and Aberdeen and later trained and raced thoroughbred horses.

Ms. Herold is survived by her son, George Michael Kozub Herold and wife, Stasia, of Mason City, IL; daughter, June Marie Cantwell of Mendham, NJ; grandchildren, Jennifer A. and Kristen M. Cantwell, Michael J., Joseph M. and Anna M. Herold; and great-grandson, Liam A. Herold. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph and Michael Kozub.
