Marie D. Kraus

Marie D. Kraus, age 88, of Dundalk, MD, passed away on June 5, 2013 at Bel Air Health and Rehabilitation in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Benjamin DeMartin and Katherine Laura Webster Bennaman and wife of the late Maynard F. Kraus. An avid reader, she loved crab season and playing games like Boggle and working crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed fishing, metal detecting, gambling, traveling and spent many days in Ocean City, MD. She always put her family first.

Mrs. Kraus is survived by her sons, John Maynard Kraus and wife, Catherine L. Kraus, of Dundalk and Charles Jeffrey Kraus and wife, Coni F. Kraus, of North East; daughter, Donna Marie Horton and husband, Jeffrey Scott Horton, of Nottingham; and grandchildren, Adrienne Latanishen, Laura Horton, Heather Marshall and Jenna Botteon. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, John B. DeMartin; sister, Jean Hess; and grandchildren, Benjamin Williams, Shyloh Kraus and Christopher Green.

Pallbearers were Paul Latanishen, Ed Howard, Steve Cessna, Kelly Cessna, Colin Cessna and Eric Horton.
