Marie Cyenthia Stratmann

Marie Cyenthia Stratmann, age 68, of Bel Air, MD, died on October 14, 2009 at Manor Care Health Services in Baltimore, MD. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Frederick C. and Vergie Lucille McGrady Melber. She had worked at several hospitals around the D.C. and Baltimore areas as a medical transcriber, and retired from the Baltimore VA Hospital. An alumnus of the Maryland School for the Blind, she lived in Harford County for 34 years. She enjoyed reading and her computing.

Mrs. Stratmann is survived by her husband of 46 years, Allen Dean Stratmann of Bel Air, MD; siblings, Leta Mae Maines of Fallston, MD, Ernie Melber of Edgewood, Barbara Blevins of Aberdeen, MD, Gail Scott of Fredericksburg, VA, Larry Melber of Rising Sun, MD, Carol Gutberlet of Havre de Grace, MD, John Melber of King George, VA, June Shipley of Cape Coral, FL, Ann Parsons of Churchville, MD, Geo Melber of Havre de Grace, MD, Debbie Miller of Joppa, MD, Fred Melber Jr. of Joppa, MD; and dearest friend, Michael Chapman.
