Marie B. Corbin

MARIE B. CORBIN of Bel Air, MD passed away on February 14, 2008 at Stella Maris in Timonium, MD. She was 90 years old. Born on April 8, 1917 in Aberdeen, MD, she was the wife of the late Claiborne E. "Bud" Corbin who passed away in 1978. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Otila Burkins and sister of the late Margaret Stinchcomb. A life long resident of Harford County, Mrs. Corbin was a proud graduate of Aberdeen High School and enjoyed attending many reunions with fellow classmates. She and her husband were the owners of Corbin Fuel Company in Bel Air. They enjoyed many years together being members of the Bush River Yacht Club and Maryland Golf and Country Club and spending time in Ocean City, MD with family and friends. She was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bel Air. She had been a Girl Scout leader and had been very active in functions at the Bel Air High School when her daughters were growing up. In later years, she enjoyed many wonderful trips with her Madonna AARP group and playing bridge with a wide circle of friends.

She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara C. Ensor and her husband, Dick, of Forest Hill, MD and Karen C. Coale and her husband, Phil, of Bel Air, MD; five grandchildren, Richard E. Ensor Jr. and his wife, Lisa, Gregory C. Ensor and his wife, Elizabeth, and Mark N. Ensor and his wife, Andrea, all of Forest Hill, MD, Michele Coale-McFadden and her husband, Bob, of Bel Air, MD, and Leann Coale-Reeves and her husband, Richard, of Churchville, MD. She is survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, Joshua Ensor and Corbin Ensor of Forest Hill, MD, Jason McFadden of Bel Air, MD, Courtney Ensor of Forest Hill, MD, Kelsey Edwards of Churchville, MD, Laurel Ensor and Austin Ensor of Forest Hill, MD, Brandon McFadden of Bel Air, MD, Haley Ensor of Forest Hill, MD, McKenna McFadden of Bel Air, MD, Cody Reeves of Churchville, MD, Carly Ensor of Forest Hill, MD, and Logan Reeves of Churchville, MD.
