Marianne Pukl

Marianne Pukl, age 80, of Belcamp, MD, passed away on August 18, 2013 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Kraslice, Czechoslovakia, she was the daughter of the late Josef and Elsa Zuber and wife of the late Jan Pukl. A resident of Harford County since 1951, she worked for Bata Shoe Company in Belcamp for over 35 years where her coworkers affectionately knew her as "Granny". She'll be remembered for her passion and ability to bring family and friends together, especially around the holidays.

Mrs. Pukl is survived by her son, George Pukl and wife, Ann, of Santa Clara, CA; daughter, Linda Abraham of Newport Beach, CA; grandchildren, George Pukl, Aaron Abraham and wife, Lauren, Patricia Pukl and Silas Abraham and wife, Melissa; and seven great-grandchildren, Austin Pukl, Alex Pukl, Dylan Pukl, Leah Abraham, Brody Pukl, Zadie Abraham and Zachary Pukl. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son-in-law, Reuben Abraham and her sister, Erna Ohnes.
