Marian R. Piazzola

Marian R. Piazzola, 90, of Aberdeen, MD, formerly of Morrisville, PA, passed away on July 19, 2015 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Altoona, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Raymond Ketrow and Mildred Ruth (Bowers) Ketrow and wife of the late Savino "Sam" Piazzola.

As a young woman, Mrs. Piazzola started working as a telephone operator. In her later years, she returned to New Jersey Bell where she retired in 1989. She loved to sew, bake and make crafts and she and her husband loved to dance. A loving grandmother, family was important to her. She always hosted a Sunday meal where family and friends were always welcome.

Mrs. Piazzola is survived by her son, Parker Wayne Patterson of Pine Grove, PA; daughters, Diana L. Hamdan of Aberdeen and Lori Gramlich of Marlton, NJ; sister, Christine Schmidt of Swedesboro, NJ; grandchildren, Sarah Hamdan of Aberdeen and Aliah Hamdan of Parkville; four step-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
