Marian Miner Heddy

Marian Miner Heddy, 88, of Bel Air, MD passed away on September 5, 2015 at Brightview Assisted Living in Bel Air, MD. Born in Anthony, KS, she was the daughter of the late Erle Seldon Miner and Mary (Green) Miner. She graduated from Millburn H.S. where she loved being a majorette. She was also a graduate of Skidmore College where she met the love of her life, George Heddy Jr. who attended Colgate University. She was a member of the Weichert Realtor's Million Dollar Club in New Jersey and was a recent member of the Virginia Golf Club and Baltusrol Golf Club. A devoted mother, she was proud of her daughter, Kathryn, who participated in the 1976 Olympics in swimming.

Mrs. Heddy is survived by her husband of 66 years, George E. Heddy Jr; son, George E. Heddy III (Christina) of NC; daughters, Laurie Morris (Bill) of Bel Air, Michelle Haun (Dallas) of Long Beach, CA and Kathryn Drum of CA, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she is pre-deceased by her brother, Richard Miner.
