Maria Teresa ''Maritere'' Jimenez

Maria Teresa "Maritere" Jiménez, age 57, of Churchville, MD, passed away on April 6, 2014, at her home. Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico, she is the daughter of Fernando A. Villamil of Guayama, Puerto Rico, and the late Alma Benito de Villamil. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker, an honors graduate from the University of Puerto Rico and for more than 15 years taught at-risk youth at Aberdeen Middle School. She had a witty sense of humor, loved family and bowling, was an amazing cook, and enjoyed traveling.

Mrs. Jiménez is survived by her husband of 36 great years, BG Alberto J. Jiménez (Ret.); daughter, Kiara G. Vogel and husband, Jeff, of Annapolis; son, Fernando J. Jimenez and wife, Jennifer, of Owings Mills; sister, Alma Villamil de Nevares and husband, José, of McDonough, GA; and sister Rosa Villamil de Peppers and husband, Robert, of Locust Grove, GA.
