Maria Delia Gomez

MARIA DELIA GOMEZ, age 107, of Havre de Grace, MD, died on February 25, 2007, at her daughter’s home. Born in Colombia, South America, she was the daughter of the late Severo and Margarita Duran Uribe and wife of the late Dr. Ramiro Gomez. She was a teacher, poet, writer and a very devoted religious person.

Mrs. Gomez is survived by her son, Dr. Alonso Gomez of Havre de Grace, MD; a daughter, Yolanda Gomez of Towson, MD; three grandchildren, Kellie Lynne Moran of Perryville, MD, Michelle Anne Brooks of Havre de Grace, MD, Dr. Patricia Christine Garcia of Grosse Pointe, MI; and five great-grandchildren, Marissa Moran of Perryville, MD, Lucy Moran, Emily Brooks, Katie Brooks all of Havre de Grace, MD, and Natalia Garcia of Grosse Pointe, MI.
