MARGIE B. CRISS, age 72, of Bel Air, MD, died on July 2, 2007 at her daughter’s home. Born June 27, 1935 in Baltimore, MD, she was the youngest daughter of the late Earl Edward and Virgie Clyde Hart Roe and wife, for 40 years, of the late Manford Guy Criss and companion for eleven years, to the late Ellis Reeves. She worked for Peppis Meats in Bel Air, Wrights store in Fallston, and Mariner Health in Bel Air. Mrs. Criss was an avid reader and bingo player, Oriole fan, and follower of professional bowling. She enjoyed playing horseshoes, shuffleboard, fishing, and crabbing, as well as, taking day trips visiting Amish country. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Criss is survived by her sons, Rick G. Criss and his wife, Christine, of Bel Air, MD, Tim L. Criss and his wife, Cherie, of Bel Air, MD, and Donald L. Criss and his wife, Twyla, of Conowingo, MD; a daughter, Robin M. Payne of Bel Air, MD; three sisters, Gayle Dickerson of Port Deposit, MD, Betty Walter of Churchville, MD, and Carol Leftridge of Churchville, MD; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, husband, and companion, she was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy Roe.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Walter, Kevin Leftridge, Jackie Leftridge, David Stout, Van Reeves, Joe Criss, Paul Place, and Bob Pickard. Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Criss, Chris Payne, Marion “Bunk” Walter, and Richard Reeves.
