Margarette L. Rutherford

Margarette L. Rutherford, age 84, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on April 21, 2023 at her home. Born in Hillsboro, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Marvin Brock and Veda (Cutlip) Marshall Amerin and wife of Earl William Mitchell, Jr. and the late George C. Rutherford, Jr.

She retired December 22, 2012 from A&A Bolt and Screw after 17 years of service as an accountant. She was a member of Joppatowne Christian Church and former member of North Harford Baptist Church. Margarette enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family and being outside doing yardwork.

In addition to her husband, Margarette is survived by her daughter, Kimberlyn (Tom) Sparks; daughter-in-law, Terri Rutherford; sisters, Sandra Horner and Betty Miller, grandchildren, Courtney Syck, Ashley Ramirez, Andrew Rutherford and Christopher (Amanda) Greer; and great grandchildren, Carter, Sophia, Hunter, Cole, Brooks and Calvin.

In addition to her parents and her first husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Rutherford, sister, Ileta Marie Coleman, brother Marvin Brock Jr., and grandchild, Matthew Rutherford.
