Margaret W. Hess

MARGARET W. HESS, age 87, of Fallston, died on October 21, 2005 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Born in Baldwin, she was the daughter of the late Harry Clarence and Mary Rebecca Scarff Chenworth.

A homemaker, her family was the #1 thing she enjoyed the most. She also enjoyed working with flowers and was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church in Joppa.

Mrs. Hess is survived by her husband of 65 years to Spurgeon St. Clair Hess; by two sons, Donald S. Hess and Carroll W. Hess, both of Fallston; a sister, Elizabeth Henderson, of Jarrettsville; five grandchildren: Kevin S. Hess of Fallston, C. John Hess of White Hall, Christopher B. Hess of Fallston, Matthew S. Hess of Fallston, and Amy C. Hess of Fallston; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas S. Hess and Alexis N. Hess, both of Fallston. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Harry T. Chenworth.

Pallbearers were: Kevin S. Hess, C. John Hess, Christopher B. Hess, Matthew S. Hess, R. Allen Henderson, and Earl E. Preston, Jr. Honorary pallbearer was Amy C. Hess.
