Margaret "Sigrid" Benson

Margaret "Sigrid" Benson, of Forest Hill, Maryland was born December 6, 1941, passed away on January 5, 2021 at her home. Born in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Harry and Margretta Benson. Sigrid retired from Johnson Control group, where she was a contract worker since 1998. She used her earnings to indulge in her passion for travelling. She has been to Jamaica, the Bahamas, Myrtle Beach, Canada, Florida, Hawaii, and California. Sigrid believed in giving back to her community. She used to help out with Martha’s Meals and volunteered at local nursing homes. Sigrid would also help bake and deliver cookies to local fire and police departments.

Sigrid was a spunky lady with a loud quirky laugh and loved celebrating her birthday with her friends. Anyone that had the pleasure of being part of her life, considers themselves blessed. Sigrid will be greatly missed.
