Margaret Rebecca Mcgibney

MARGARET REBECCA McGIBNEY, age 84, of Joppa, MD, died at Lorien Bel Air in Bel Air, MD, on September 13, 2006. Born in Delta, PA, she was the daughter of the late Oral Robert and Sarah Jane Norris Heaps. A homemaker, she graduated from Slate Ridge High School in Whiteford and worked at Edgewood Arsenal during WWII. She retired from Western Electric and was a member of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. McGibney is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bradford W. McGibney of Joppa, MD; one son, Timothy W. McGibney of Timonium, MD; one daughter, Melissa S. Parkinson of Cub Hill, MD; one brother, Mason Heaps of White Marsh, MD; two sisters, Ethel Mills of Bear, DE, and Jean Rhodes of Rock Spring, MD; and five grandchildren, Todd W. McGibney of Timonium, MD, Kelly L. Carbonell of Dallas, TX, Aaron T. McGibney of Timonium, MD, Myles S. Parkinson of Cub Hill, MD, and Kyla E. R. Parkinson of Cub Hill, MD.

Pallbearers were Todd W. McGibney, Kelly L. Carbonell, Aaron T. McGibney, Myles S. Parkinson, Kyla R. Parkinson, and Alan Thompson.
