Margaret "Peggy" Blackburn

Margaret "Peggy" Blackburn, age 84, of Newark, Delaware passed away on December 5, 2022 at Sterling Care in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Edward and Edith (Hauser) Bush. She retired in 2007 from Save The Children after 30 years as the Program Director. She loved talking to dogs and was very active in her earlier years. She was an avid tennis player, a good cook, and a good outdoor mom who enjoyed kayaking and ice skating and she also enjoyed completing her daily word puzzle.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Wendy Ward (Greg); sons, Douglas Blackburn (Janelle), Christopher Blackburn and Jonathan Blackburn (Sheri); grandchildren, Kathryn Brunetti (Michael), Patrick & Andrew Ward, Kyle, Bryan, Graham & Olivia Blackburn, Madeline, Lily M., Margaret & Lily Blackburn; great-grandson, Huey Brunetti; sisters, Sharon Morgenstern (Ray), Ronnie Jordan (Dick); and brother, Ed Bush (Brenda).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathryn Guidone.
